Teeling Souring Inferno

The Teeling Souring Inferno

Posted in Recipes, Updates.

With the long weekend stretching out ahead of us, there are few things that most of us love more than a good whiskey cocktail. For us here at Teeling HQ, the Teeling Souring Inferno is just that.

The first documented reference to the Whiskey Sour was over 100 years ago in a Wisconsin newspaper, since then it has become an institution, appearing on cocktail menus across the globe! This refreshing cocktail is simultaneously sweet and sour and is infamous for its unusual combination of lemon juice and sugar, many adaptations of it have evolved over time, with our take, the Teeling Souring Inferno being the very best!!

We’ve even gone and made a little video to help you get going! Have a go and let us know how you get on!

The Teeling Souring Inferno

  • 40ml Teeling Small Batch
  • 20ml Maraschino Liquor
  • 20ml Sugar Syrup
  • 20ml Egg White/1 Egg White
  • Fire!

It’s simple, combine the Small Batch, Maraschino Liquor, Sugar Syrup and Egg White into a shaker, shake without ice to emulsify the ingredients then shake again with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass then using a lighter Brûlée the egg white over the cocktail. Serve super chilled and enjoy with friends this sunny (hopefully!) long weekend!
