Culture, Craic and Craft for St. Patrick’s Festival

Posted in Events, Updates.

The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is celebrating its first St Patrick’s Day with a whole month of celebrations at its award-winning Visitor Centre.  As part of these festivities, there will be two events highlighting the uniqueness of Irish culture and the excellence of Ireland’s artisan food and drink community that visitors both from home and abroad can enjoy!

As well as hosting two great events, to honour St Patrick’s Day, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery will be illuminated in green from the 10th-17th of March. In addition, anyone who books in for a tour of the distillery from these dates will also receive a complimentary Teeling Whiskey Flat Cap.

Spontaneous Storytelling, 17th March

As part of the St. Patrick’s Festival ‘I Love My City Programme’, on March 17th The Teeling Whiskey Distillery will host ‘The Moth StorySLAM’, a spontaneous storytelling session presented by none other than hilarious Irish Stand Up Comedian Colm O’Regan. Playing on Irish people’s natural storytelling abilities, the audience will be invited to prepare a 5 minute true story based on a theme given to them by judges then come on stage to battle it out for a spot in the Dublin ‘GrandSlam’ Championship.

Tickets are available to purchase here from 1st March.

Getting Crafty, 19th March

Building on the huge success of the Teeling Whiskey Christmas Craft Fair, on March 19th an even bigger host of Ireland’s most exciting artisan producers will gather at The Teeling Whiskey Distillery to showcase their popular product ranges. With a selection of Irish brands set to take part, including some of Teeling’s own exciting food collaborations, visitors can expect an enticing range of palate pleasing offerings as well as a carefully curated selection of homeware must-haves to choose from.
